Calibre DRM Removal Plugin, known as Alf's DeDRM Plugin tool, is developed to remove DRM from eBooks, including Kindle, Kobo and Adobe DRM. There were just too many formatting inconsistencies. Kanto yu 25/6/2023 ![]() I had the ai41w as apart of pre release in white bamboo. i feel there is a limit to small speaker.? They are nice for their size, but i feel underwhelmed after reading all those rave reviews. I also currently still have the audioengine A2 (not A2+, i think only difference is bluetooth?) maybe i will get the ai41w again one day. ![]() I have since acquired a chromecast audio which would have solved my issue. fluance customer service is top notch, unfortunately couldnt resolve the issue and returned them. very very nice (aesthetically and acoustically), but i had issues with bluetooth random stutter and crackle (i wanted to use them with google home, lets not talk about how bluetooth streaming not as audio pleasing). There's also the Mackie CR4-X at $160 currently. I've been considering the new'ish Fiio BTA30 ($119) to hookup via Bluetooth with the LDAC or aptX HD codecs to RCA inputs. You can get an $80 Fosi amp and $120 Micca MB42X speakers on Amazon and that combo will sound better than the YU2's or A2's. I know the built in DAC makes these YU2's appealing for desktop use but there are better sounding speakers and they are not the Audioengines A2+'s.įor the desktop I'd accept nothing less than a 4 inch main driver. The updated ai41's are due in May and they will be available in a white & bamboo scheme at ~ $325 list and I would expect them to go on sale in the ~$275 area. I now use these in a garage workout area but they could be used on a large desktop. In 2018 I acquired a set of Fluance ai40's with 5.25 inch main drivers. I use them now with a bluetooth receiver for background music in the living & dining rooms. They are OK on the desktop but need a sub to fill out the sound.

Shooting blocks game for windows5/6/2023 ![]() The third player takes control of Jack, Kait and Del's friendly flying robo-drone who provides support for his human masters, laying down traps, dropping boosts, fetching weapons or providing a quick bit of first aid if you get downed. You'll probably be rushing to play as either Kait or Del, the two beefcake heroes of Gears 5's story campaign and the main ones doing all the shooting, sawing and yanking of robot plugs from the backs of unsuspecting enemies. ![]() Gears 5's meaty campaign is a fine old romp when played alone, but it really comes alive when you're cleaving through it with a pal or two. Or try Borderlands 3, elsewhere on this list, for something as action-packed you can play forever. What else should I be playing if I like this: Gears Of War 4 is a similarly fun slice-and-shooter in co-op. This turns out to be fine - it just becomes another obstacle to work out how to overcome, and another moment of physics fun. That boat you used to clamber on? If all 8 of you leap on, your combined weight will cause it to sink. You'll still mainly play on the levels originally designed for a single player. Brilliantly, not much else has changed about the game. They hoist you up behind them, hold your hand as you dangle from those ropes, and you talk to come up with plans to clumsily enact. This clumsiness is extra delightful when you're not just doing it yourself, but watching friends do it as well. You must do this by clumsily lifting yourself up ledges, clumsily swinging from ropes, and clumsily working out how to use the environment to continue your journey. Played with two players in local co-op or up to eight online, your goal is still to steer your dough boys towards the exit on a series of floating islands. Then its developers added co-op, and it came alive. Human Fall Flat began life as a pleasant if unremarkable puzzle-platformer starring a featureless, physicsy dough boy called Bob. Or give Grow Home a go, if you want some clumsy single player platforming. What else should I be playing if I like this: The aforementioned Transformice was in this slot in previous iterations of this list. Human Fall Flat Where can I buy it: Steam, Humble Even better, only one person needs to actually buy the game, as every copy comes with a free friend pass for your player two.Ģ4. ![]() And in the meantime, you won’t lose any of your own access or control over your accounts. The agent has legal access as soon as the POA takes effect, but you can revoke their power at any time or for any reason. (Though it’s still a good idea!) It’s also important to note that you’re not giving up control over your finances before you’re incapacitated. With durable power of attorney, the agent’s power continues indefinitely after the point when you’re legally not able to make your own decisions.ĭepending on your state’s laws, you may not need to inform your agent that they’re named in your durable power of attorney at all. These are typically used in cases where you are concerned about becoming incapacitated in the future. “Durable” is an umbrella term that applies to most POA documents. They can also differ by how long they last and when they take effect. There are a number of different types of POA, which vary according to how much control they grant the agent. How Does a No-Exam Life Insurance Policy Work? Let’s jump into the main types you should know about.ĭo You Need Life Insurance and Is It Worth It?ġ5 Different Types of Life Insurance: What Should You Know? Generally speaking, you can get a power of attorney by having a lawyer draft these documents for you. Is there language in the POA to settle disputes between agents? What happens if co-agents can’t resolve a dispute? What happens if a co-agent isn’t responding promptly regarding a certain decision or document? If you’re interested in naming co-agents (or if you’re named along with someone else on a relative’s POA), make sure the document answers these questions:Ĭan co-agents act independently, or do all of them need to agree on every decision? Often, this means a top choice and a few alternates, although you can specify multiple people who have to work together as co-agents (such as multiple adult children). You can name multiple agents on a POA document. The catch is, the document needs to be in place before you’re declared legally incompetent to make decisions for yourself. For example, if you got into an accident that left you in a coma, or if you suffered from dementia, this would enable someone else to step in and manage your affairs and your property. People ask us a lot for the definition of a POA: A power of attorney document names someone (called the “agent”) to make legal decisions on another person’s behalf (the “principal”) if the person is not able to. Additionally, if you have aging parents or other relatives, you might encourage them to set up power of attorney while they’re still able.Īnd yes, married couples often need POA, too, even if they have joint accounts! Chess board layout5/6/2023 ![]() How to make your own chess – detailed instruction. Depending on the project I also use my air assist, which is hooked up to the air compressor. I am also using an enclosure I built with an exhaust outside to control the fumes. My setup: I am using a 10W Endurance Laser, which is mounted to my CR-10 using a quick release. This definitely doesn’t look like a scrap piece of wood anymore, but more like something you would pay $100 for in a fancy store. Then, to make it even nicer, I applied some wood finishing oil, which just makes it pop so much more. I really like how you can still see the wood grain in the dark parts. Also, make sure you have “Scan shapes individually” and “Flood Fill Scanning” checked in LightBurn, as that will speed up the engraving process dramatically.Īfter about 3 hours, the engraving was done and already looked stunning. Since I never engraved on that specific type of wood before I quickly did a test on a scrap piece, to make sure it looks good before I went for it on the real piece. For my 10W laser that is 15% power at 700mm/min. After importing it into LightBurn, I applied my saved settings for engraving on wood. You could also use the trace function inside LightBurn to achieve the same thing, I’m just more used to Illustrator. The standard USCF tournament set has 2.25 inch squares and a king's height of 3.75 inches. Since vectors are always better when engraving, I just vectorized it using Illustrator. The United States Chess Federation (USCF) states that square size should be anywhere from 2 inches to 2.5 inches, while the king's height should be 3.375 inches to 4.5 inches. The file was descent in resolution, but I still wanted to make sure I get the most detail possible. To save on time, I used a design that I found online. At 20x20cm it is nice and compact, so it doesn’t take up too much space, but it still is big enough to actually use. I had it leftover from a different project and was just waiting to use it for something nice. To showcase the Endurance laser, I chose to burn the layout on a beautiful piece of white oak. It is also a great project to build your own chessboard, as there are so many different ways to do it. The simplicity and elegance of the layout just have something about it, that looks classy. While I don’t play chess myself, I still think a chess board makes for a nice decorative item. Panel bottom edges feature discrete elastomeric bumpers which dampen panel contact and safely grip their supporting surfaces.Chess is an ancient game, which is still very popular today.Pieces will always appear perfectly aligned, whether on their individual playing squares during gameplay or in their piece trays upon opening, and even after bumps while playing and shakes while stored. The black piece tray's king icon is to the player's left of the queen. ![]() The white piece tray's king icon is on the right side of its queen, and is on the same side as the origami bird which marks square A1. The set never has to be emptied or flipped during setup. Some unique properties of the design include: Thanks to the set's single degree of freedom playing configuration which is constrained by its planar resting surface, even with its cantilevered corners, it feels as solid and square as the surface below it.Įach of the 10 sets in this inaugural Limited Edition run is individually laser-marked with its piece number, run, iteration, and design version. The force of their magnetic base is subtle, leaving play uninterrupted and feeling more like additional piece weighting. Four integrated panels are joined using brushed stainless steel hardware in an origami-inspired mechanism which can dynamically transition between storage, setup, and playing states. Self-centering on the playing surface and securely stored piece trays, our custom magnetic chess pieces are CNC machined from solid blocks of Dymalux, a resin-infused birch laminate normally reserved for high-touch objects like knife handles, jewelry, and pistol grips. Weighing in at almost eight pounds, the LE1 set carries a solid walnut playing surface in a precision-machined, black-anodized aluminum chassis. The Kinetic Chess Set draws from the disparate fields of origami engineering, woodworking, and aerospace to create a truly unique and tactile user experience during both setup and gameplay.
